Cardiology services
• Heart and vascular disease prophylaxis, diagnosis, treatment, regular monitoring of patients (according to specialized Level II help volume). Surveying, inspection, percussion, palpation, auscultation, pulse evaluation, blood pressure measurement, electrocardiogram recording and evaluation are exercised, if needed veloergometry and echocardiography is performed.
• According to the indications the patient is directed for necessary instrumental and laboratory tests in accordance with contracts to Mariners Hospital (Jūrininkų ligoninė).
• Biochemical tests and heart disease risk "express" diagnostics are performed in laboratory's clinic.
• In case of detecting indications, pacients are directed for Level II outpatient rehabilitation.
• Carrying out health education work in promoting healthy lifestyle, patients are taught to avoid cardiovascular disease risk factors (handouts with dietary and healthy lifestyle recommendations are distributed).

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) is when your blood pressure is being measured as you move around, living your normal daily life. It is normally carried over 24 hours. It uses a small digital blood pressure machine that is attached to a belt around your body and which is connected to a cuff around your upper arm. It small enough that you can go about your normal daily life and even sleep with it on.
